Thousands of tourists flocked to Ta Hien Street (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ) to eat and have fun on the evening of April 30.
From 6:30 pm on April 30, people began to flock to Ta Hien and Luong Ngoc Quyen streets (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). The shops were crowded with customers. After about an hour, the street was packed with people and the shops were packed. Ta Hien, the "Street that Never Sleeps", attracts both domestic and international tourists. Many shop owners place tables and chairs in the middle of the street, taking advantage of every empty space to display their wares, occupying almost the entire walkway for locals and tourists.
Tourists struggled to squeeze through the crowd to get into the restaurant. By 8pm, many groups of friends had difficulty finding a seat. James (American) and Talya (Mexican) are currently living in Hong Kong. They came to Hanoi for a three-day trip , which coincided with a Vietnamese holiday. The couple was stunned by the bustling, crowded and vibrant scene at Ta Hien. "The hotel staff recommended this street to me. It's like the night streets in Hong Kong, very interesting. The food seems to be more delicious and diverse. I really like this atmosphere," the couple shared.
Around 9pm, the bars and clubs on Ta Hien Street start to bustle, and the flow of people, especially young tourists, becomes even more crowded. At 10pm, the street is still packed with tourists. "I've walked around a few times but still haven't found my group of friends. This street is too crowded," said Mike, a tourist from Spain. Similar to Bui Vien in Ho Chi Minh City, Ta Hien is considered the "street that never sleeps" of Hanoi. Many travel sites around the world call this a great place for visitors to explore the bustling, bustling life of Hanoi at night.
