On the morning of November 1, at Thai Hoc House - Temple of Literature, the opening ceremony of "Heritage Convergence" officially opened a series of activities within the framework of the Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025. The event aims to honor the heritage values of Thang Long - Hanoi and spread the spirit of creativity in the community.
Taking place from November 1 to 16 at the special national relic of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, this year's Festival brings together many rich activities, connecting tradition - modernity, heritage - creativity, making Van Mieu a meeting place of culture, art and knowledge.
In the ancient and sacred space of the heritage, the public is immersed in a series of diverse experiences: displaying and performing traditional craft villages from Hanoi, Hue, Ninh Binh and the Central Highlands; the art program "On the Heritage Road" with three special performances at Ho Van - honoring the Vietnamese Ao Dai, paying tribute to the thousand-year-old Capital and blending regional accents through "The Red River calls, the great forest roars".

The heritage experience space at Ho Van is a highlight loved by young people, where visitors can participate in craft workshops, creative arts and enjoy “Hanoi Flavor” cuisine – a subtle blend of tradition and modernity.

In addition, the Festival also has academic activities and international exchanges, such as the discussion "East-West Cultural and Educational Heritage" in collaboration with Columbia University (USA) and the workshop "Application of Heritage in Creativity", aiming to find new directions in bringing heritage values into contemporary life.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Anh Mai - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports emphasized: "The city plans to organize the Thang Long - Hanoi Festival periodically, not only to position the unique cultural - tourism brand of the capital, but also to affirm the connecting role of Hanoi - Creative City in the UNESCO network. The Festival will be an open space, where heritage inspires and nurtures the creative spirit of the community".
