Opening of Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh Kite Festival 2023

Many people and tourists came to see dozens of colorful kites shaped like sea animals, cartoon characters, etc., made by the Ho Chi Minh City Kite Sky Club.

The festival is organized by the Quy Nhon City People's Committee in coordination with the Quy Nhon City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Kite Sky Club (on July 21-22), aiming to create a highlight for the city's tourism development. Within the framework of the Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh Kite Festival 2023, on the mornings of July 21 and 22, children will also participate in a kite making class, held at the Quy Nhon City Administrative Center Hall (No. 30 Nguyen Hue).

● On the same afternoon, the People's Committee of Dong Da Ward (Quy Nhon City) summarized the Tourism Night program on Ha Thanh River. According to the assessment, the Festival (held on July 1 and 2) was successful, with many activities that impressed the people and tourists, such as: Launching ceremony in response to the movement of Safe - Friendly - Attractive Tourism Environment, Opening ceremony of Tourism Night on Ha Thanh River, inauguration of mural paintings - check-in points, Dong Da Ward's expanded startup festival, SUP paddle racing... It is estimated that about 10,000 people participated and directly watched the activities of the Festival.

Dong Da Ward People's Committee proposed the Department of Tourism to direct Binh Dinh Tourism Promotion Center to coordinate in organizing the annual Tourism Night event on Ha Thanh River; proposed Quy Nhon City People's Committee to preside over the organization to improve the quality of the festival. Along with that, Dong Da Ward also proposed to renovate some areas on Hoa Lu Street, increase socialization to create more diversity for tourism activities in Hoa Lu Food Street, Nguyen Hoang Street and Ha Thanh River area.
