Opening of the photo exhibition "Journey of missionaries, journalists and publishers in Ho Chi Minh City"

On the morning of June 6, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, Photographer Tran The Phong organized a photo exhibition "Journey of a Propaganda, Journalism, and Publishing Worker", to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Delegates and NAG Tran The Phong performed the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Attending the event were former Heads of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department: Than Thi Thu, Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue; Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Nguyen Tan Phong, along with many propaganda officers from different periods, journalists, and artists who had participated in trips to the source organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The exhibition introduces 50 photos taken by photographer Tran The Phong during trips to the source with delegations of propaganda, press and publishing officials in Ho Chi Minh City from March 2019 to October 2023, showing the honor of the role of propaganda, press and publishing in spreading the message of gratitude, remembering the merits of heroes, martyrs, and outstanding children of the nation. "The exhibition is not only an opportunity for the photography community to enjoy, but also an opportunity for the public, especially the youth, to understand more about the "Journey to the source", about the sacred values of the homeland", photographer Tran The Phong shared.

“Journey to the Source” is the 21st solo photo exhibition of NAG Tran The Phong, who has won hundreds of art and journalism awards at home and abroad.
