Opening of the exhibition celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday

The exhibition will take place simultaneously on Nguyen Hue Street and Dong Khoi Street (in front of the Department of Culture and Sports and opposite Chi Lang Park), from May 17 to June 11.

With 100 displayed images, the exhibition outlines the life of President Ho Chi Minh from his childhood to the time he decided to leave to find a way to save the country. Under the light of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Communist Party of Vietnam led the Vietnamese revolution to historic victories, opening an era of independence and freedom for the nation and now the whole country is confidently entering a new era - the era of national growth.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh is a noble symbol of true patriotism combined smoothly with proletarian internationalism.

He devoted himself to building solidarity and constantly fostering close and friendly relations among the peoples of Indochina and neighboring countries; making outstanding contributions in both theory and practice to the communist movement and the national liberation movement.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh was extremely great, full of hardships, noble and rich, bright and beautiful, becoming a great man of the twentieth century, a national liberation hero, a genius leader of our Party and people, an outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam, an outstanding soldier of the international communist and workers' movement.

At the same time, on Dong Khoi Street, the Organizing Committee also displayed an exhibition with the theme "The beloved South is always in His heart" with 70 photos expressing President Ho Chi Minh's deep affection and special concern for the South during the arduous years of revolutionary struggle.

At the location opposite Chi Lang Park, the exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh - A shining example of self-study and lifelong learning" also took place.

With 50 photos, the exhibition introduces documents and images about President Ho Chi Minh's learning and training process from his childhood until he became a great leader of the nation and some typical books, newspapers and magazines written by him or directly directed the creation and implementation... throughout his revolutionary activities.
