Opening of Hue Press Exhibition in the Flow of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press

On the morning of June 17, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, a flower offering ceremony and the opening of the thematic exhibition "Hue journalism in the flow of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism" took place.

Thematic exhibition organized by Hue City Journalists Association in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Museum to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. The exhibition consists of 3 parts: Journalist Ho Chi Minh - Founder and trainer of Vietnam revolutionary press; Hue press in the flow of Vietnam revolutionary press; Hue press after 1975.

The exhibition introduces and honors President Ho Chi Minh - the great and genius leader of our nation, the national liberation hero, great writer, poet, and journalist. The founder and builder of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.

Introducing the history of the birth of patriotic press, revolutionary press in Hue from 1926 to 1945, the first years after the August Revolution; in the resistance war against France, against America; in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland...

Affirming the contributions of patriotic and revolutionary journalism in Hue; paying tribute to outstanding journalists through each historical period.

Introducing documents and images at the thematic exhibition "Hue press in the flow of Vietnamese revolutionary press" at Ho Chi Minh Museum, Hue City

According to the assessment, the display of high-quality, aesthetically pleasing images and documents in each group of "Revolutionary Press", "Patriotic Press" and "Revolutionary Press" before 1975 has helped the public identify press publications, revolutionary historical events, Vietnamese grammar and structure of each period... In addition to the above content, the exhibition also has a space to display artifacts and products through each development stage of two press agencies: Hue Newspaper today and Hue Radio and Television Station.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, President of the City Journalists Association, Director of Hue Radio and Television Station, said that the exhibition affirms the contributions of patriotic and revolutionary press in Hue; helps the younger generation understand more about the development process and the role of Vietnamese revolutionary press in general, and patriotic and revolutionary press in Hue in particular, in the movement for national liberation and reunification. Especially the power of media and press in the current cause of national construction and defense.
