Medical examination and free medicine for people in difficult circumstances

(CT) - Vi Thanh Ward Youth Union in coordination with the Ward Women's Union and the ward's sectors and organizations have just organized a program to examine and provide free medicine to people in difficult circumstances and the elderly. This is a practical activity to welcome the Congress of Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Within the framework of the program, doctors and nurses from the Ward Health Station examined the health of more than 3,000 people, provided advice on how to recognize and treat chronic diseases, and instructed them on how to use medicine properly.

Previously, on August 22, the program was organized, attracting about 300 people to participate. The total cost of implementation in 2 days was more than 30 million VND.
