(BGDT) - On the morning of July 24, at Tien Son Commune Health Station, Viet Yen District Police ( Bac Giang ), the District Health Department coordinated with Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Folk Dance Club and Tam Gia Star volunteer group to organize medical examination, health consultation, free medicine distribution and gift giving to policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in the commune.

Representatives of volunteer units and Viet Yen District Police presented gifts to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs of Tien Son Commune People's Police.

Here, more than 200 subjects who are relatives of martyrs, meritorious people, and policy families in Tien Son commune received health consultations, body index checks, medical and surgical examinations, blood pressure measurements, and free medicine from doctors and nurses of Ha Dong Traditional Medicine Hospital.

The examination process is organized scientifically , effectively, and qualitatively; the drug distribution to the subjects is reasonable in quantity and quality, ensuring safety during the treatment process. The total value of the drugs is nearly 70 million VND.

On this occasion, representatives of the district police and volunteer units visited and presented 70 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to a number of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in the locality. Of these, 10 gifts were given to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs of the People's Public Security and 10 gifts were given to poor students who have overcome difficulties in Tien Son commune.
