This is an activity in response to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Nam province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025).
The program was held in two localities of Thang Binh district, in which the program was held in Binh Dinh commune on March 24 and in Binh Duong commune on March 27.
The main activities of this campaign include screening, consultation, medicine distribution and free eye surgery for 50 patients with indications. The examination team consists of a team of enthusiastic young doctors, pharmacists and nurses from Quang Nam Eye Hospital.
In addition to examinations and surgeries, the program also promotes eye care, proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to help protect eyesight, as well as encourages people to have regular check-ups to detect eye diseases early.
Mr. Nguyen Khoa Vy - Deputy Director of Quang Nam Eye Hospital, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Health said that this event not only supports the elderly in taking care of their eyesight but also demonstrates the pioneering spirit of youth union members in community work.
The program is implemented in collaboration with Quang Nam Eye Hospital and Tam Ky Project. This is one of the outstanding activities, contributing to improving the quality of life for people, while spreading humanistic values and social responsibility of young people.
