(LĐ online) - On the morning of January 5, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee issued a document requesting the Provincial Party Committee, Party Executive Committee, Party Delegation; departments, branches, sectors, Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio -political organizations of the province; City Party Committee, District Party Committee, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee to urgently and focus on implementing the tasks of 2024.

Positive working atmosphere in units

The Provincial Party Committee requests Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province to lead and direct the review, develop plans, and immediately overcome the shortcomings and limitations pointed out through the 2023 review, closely following the goals, tasks and solutions for 2024, focusing on implementing tasks with high determination, striving to perform tasks well right from the first months of the year, ensuring timely, quality and effective work, without delay. Resolutely implement breakthroughs and key projects, promote budget collection, disbursement of public investment capital, encourage people and businesses to join hands, be unanimous, and strive to successfully implement the goals and targets of 2024 according to Resolution No. 28-NQ/TU, dated December 6, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee.

Pay attention to the synchronous development of cultural and social fields, constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Directly inspect and closely supervise, ensure food safety, environmental sanitation, disease prevention and control, especially during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin - 2024. Do a good job of ensuring social security and welfare, taking care of policy beneficiaries, the poor, workers, laborers, students... with difficult circumstances, organize for the people to celebrate the Lunar New Year in the spirit of the Secretariat's Directive.

Direct the effective implementation of state management of festivals in the area, ensuring solemnity, thrift, civilization, preserving and promoting good cultural identity; strengthen inspection, examination, detection and strict handling of violations of regulations on organizing and participating in festivals. Do a good job of ideological orientation among the people. Step up propaganda about the achievements of the country and locality, the implementation of key tasks and solutions in directing and implementing the socio-economic development plan for 2024.

Focus on ensuring national defense - security and social order and safety. Proactively prevent, detect early, prepare plans to prevent and effectively handle complicated situations, avoid being passive, surprised, or creating hot spots in security and order; strengthen the fight against all types of crimes, especially crimes related to social order, drugs, black credit, etc.

Review and resolve complicated cases, conflicts, complaints, and citizen grievances, and do not let them drag on. Strengthen patrols and controls to ensure traffic order and safety; prevent and fight fires and explosions at production and business establishments, residential areas, places where festivals are held, and places where large crowds gather. Regularly strengthen patrols and controls to prevent deforestation and forest fires, especially during the Lunar New Year holiday and the beginning of the dry season; promptly detect and strictly handle violations.

Organize well the recruitment and transfer of military personnel to ensure strictness and quality. Carry out well the Party's foreign affairs, State diplomacy, and people's foreign affairs according to the Party's guidelines, resolutions, and directives, and the State's policies and laws.

Focus on the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; promote the spirit of solidarity and unity; improve the capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; focus on innovating the Party's leadership method for the political system in the new period. Continue to strictly direct the implementation of Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW (term XIII); Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo; continue to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle according to the Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in conjunction with the Party's regulations on setting an example, with strong, drastic and creative solutions, creating synchronous and substantive changes.

Strengthen inspection, supervision, enforcement of party discipline, prevention and combat of corruption, negativity and waste; strictly handle violations, no forbidden areas, no exceptions. Create conditions, promote the role and responsibility of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations in supervision and social criticism; promote administrative reform; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations.

Party secretaries, heads of agencies, units and localities shall direct cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of their agencies, units and localities to strictly implement discipline, administrative discipline and labor discipline, and promptly focus on resolving and handling work right from the beginning of the new year, especially backlogged and slow-progressing work, work and procedures directly related to production, business and investment of enterprises and people. Do not organize spring outings, festivals and New Year greetings that affect work time and efficiency. Absolutely do not attend festivals during working hours; do not use public vehicles to attend festivals (except when performing duties). Leaders of agencies, units and localities shall not attend festivals unless assigned by competent authorities.
