Urgently compile statistics, review, and synthesize reports on housing damage caused by floods in the South Central region.

(Chinhphu.vn) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 232/CD-TTg dated November 27, 2025 requesting relevant ministries, branches and localities to urgently compile statistics, review and synthesize reports on damage to people's housing caused by floods in the South Central region.

Floods have severely damaged, collapsed, and washed away thousands of houses, requiring a lot of resources to repair and rebuild.

Telegrams sent to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Lam Dong provinces; Ministers of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, National Defense, Public Security, Education and Training, and Health.

Recently, in the South Central region, there has been a historic flood, causing very heavy damage to people, houses, properties, greatly affecting the lives of people and the State's infrastructure, especially in the provinces: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong. After the flood, thousands of houses were severely damaged, hundreds of households lost their homes due to collapse, collapse, and drift, requiring a lot of resources to repair and rebuild, many schools, medical stations, and hospitals have not been able to resume operations.

In order to quickly repair and rebuild houses for households whose houses are severely damaged, collapsed, or washed away, ensuring stable housing for people before the Lunar New Year 2026, following the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 227/CD-TTg dated November 23, 2025 and Resolution No. 380/NQ-CP dated November 25, 2025 of the Government, the Prime Minister requests:

1. The Chairman of the People's Committee of the provinces: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong directs the competent agencies and local authorities to urgently review, compile statistics, and synthesize specific reports on the following contents:

(1) Number of households whose houses have collapsed, fallen, or washed away and need to be rebuilt.

(2) Number of households whose houses are severely damaged and need repair.

(3) Total necessary funding to support people in repairing and rebuilding houses (clearly reporting the funding needs to support people in repairing houses, the funding needs to support people in rebuilding houses; the amount of funding that the locality can balance from local sources and other sources mobilized by the locality; the amount of funding requested for continued central support).

The People's Committees of the provinces: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong urgently send the Report to the Government Office and the Ministries: Finance, Agriculture and Environment before 5:00 p.m. on November 27, 2025 for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.

2. The Minister of Finance shall synthesize and proactively propose the use of resources from the central budget, and at the same time propose the assignment of provinces and cities that regulate the budget to the central government to support the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong to have more resources to support people to quickly repair and rebuild houses to ensure that people have safe housing before the Lunar New Year 2026.

3. The Ministers of the Ministries of National Defense and Public Security direct the military, local police and other forces to support people in repairing and rebuilding houses as requested by the locality.

The Government Office monitors and urges ministries and localities to seriously implement this Official Dispatch, promptly synthesizes and reports to the Prime Minister./.
