The project of Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau (in Dat Do town, Long Dat district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) has an area of over 18,000m², started on June 4, 2024, with a total investment of 440 billion VND, invested by Long Dat District People's Committee. The project is invested in synchronous technical infrastructure items such as sidewalk renovation, tree planting, water supply and drainage system, lighting, to beautify the urban center of Long Dat district.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province Dang Minh Thong emphasized that the inauguration of the Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau is an event of special significance, contributing to educating the revolutionary tradition and patriotism for the younger generation. The project is also a symbol of deep gratitude to the outstanding children who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, a "red address" for people and tourists to visit and remember.

"The completion of the project on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province further multiplies the historical significance, affirms the determination to preserve and promote heroic traditions, and is also a motivation to encourage the entire Party Committee, government and people of the province to continue to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, to build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland," said Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Minh Thong.

Through this project, Long Dat district has an additional cultural and historical highlight, creating favorable conditions for tourism, service and socio-economic development. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Dat Do homeland - a land rich in revolutionary traditions, contributing practically to the construction of advanced new rural areas of the district.

After the inauguration ceremony, General Phan Van Giang and leaders of central and local agencies burned incense at the shrine in the grounds of the Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau.
