At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Chi Cuong, Director of SIS Can Tho International Hospital, said that this is an important milestone opening up a new direction for development in research and training in medical practice. At the same time, the Center will play an essential role in improving practical skills, minimizing risks in practical interventions, creating a generation of interventional doctors with more solid skills, especially in the context of increasingly younger and increasing strokes.
The Preclinical Research Center is a key project built on a modern scale, including 3 operating rooms, vascular intervention, experimental anatomy, and clinical skills training meeting international standards. The animal monitoring rooms at the center are professionally designed according to international standards.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep acknowledged and praised SIS Can Tho Hospital for its many positive contributions to the development of the stroke emergency treatment network in Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta provinces. The hospital is also a specialized training center transferring stroke emergency treatment technology to many hospitals at home and abroad, affirming the prestige of the Vietnamese health sector and Can Tho City. At the same time, she requested SIS Can Tho Hospital to continue to pay attention to maximizing the efficiency, managing and operating the Center in the direction of high standards and quality; taking patients as the center, helping people access the most advanced and best health care services.
