Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to recognize 3 communes in Khanh Vinh as meeting new rural standards and advanced rural standards. Specifically, Khanh Binh and Khanh Dong communes meet new rural standards, and Song Cau commune meets advanced rural standards.

According to the appraisal results, all 3 communes have met 19/19 NTM criteria, Song Cau commune has met 19/19 advanced NTM criteria; no commune has outstanding debts in basic construction in the NTM program. Along with the synchronous investment in infrastructure and facilities, meeting the criteria of NTM and advanced NTM communes, the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved; economic models have been effectively implemented, and people's income has been increased. By the end of 2024, the average income per capita of Khanh Binh commune will reach 46.2 million VND/person/year; Khanh Dong will reach 45.99 million VND/person/year; Song Cau will reach 61.73 million VND/person/year. The communes no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses, the rate of households with permanent or semi-permanent houses will reach from 86.21% to 96.17%.

Based on the assessment of the provincial council, the Provincial People's Committee decided to recognize Khanh Binh and Khanh Dong communes as meeting the new rural standards, and Song Cau commune as meeting the advanced new rural standards by 2025.
