Quang Binh youth join hands to clean up the marine environment

(QBĐT) - Promoting the role of shock troops, volunteers, and promptly overcoming the consequences of storm No. 1, on the afternoon of June 16, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee launched and deployed youth teams to participate in cleaning the environment along the beaches in Dong Hoi City.

After storm No. 1, a large amount of waste from various places drifted and concentrated along the beach of Dong Hoi city, causing pollution and loss of beauty of tourist attractions.

Youth union members from each unit divided into areas to clean up trash and the beach.

With the spirit of volunteerism, 700 union members and young people from Dong Hoi City Youth Union, Provincial People's Committee Youth Union, Provincial Party Committee Youth Union, Quang Binh University Youth Union, Provincial Border Guard Youth Union, Provincial Military Command Youth Union and Provincial Police Youth Union participated in cleaning the environment and collecting waste in some areas of Nhat Le and Bao Ninh beaches (Dong Hoi City).

Collected waste will be classified and treated according to regulations.

This is a practical activity to spread the sense of responsibility for the marine environment, contributing to building the image of Quang Binh as a green-clean-beautiful, friendly destination for tourists. Thereby, demonstrating the role of the young generation in joining hands to respond to climate change and protect the environment.
