Dong Hoi City: Collected more than 100 tons of waste at Nhat Le and Bao Ninh beaches
(QBĐT) - In order to promptly serve the people and tourists during the tourist season, the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board has mobilized vehicles and forces, coordinated with units and localities to collect a large amount of waste at Nhat Le and Bao Ninh beaches due to the impact of the recent storm No. 1.

Garbage collection forces at Nhat Le beach.
During the 3 days from June 15-17, forces and vehicles collected over 100 tons of garbage along Nhat Le beach (1,500m) and Bao Ninh beach (50m). The main types of garbage were duckweed, fallen trees, plastic bags, plastic bottles, leaves, rotten wood, buoys, household waste...
Currently, the amount of garbage has been basically collected, reaching about 90%. The unit will continue to collect and clean the beaches in the coming days.

In addition to participating in garbage collection, recently, Dong Hoi City has also directed the youth union members, youth unions, and city associations to maintain their participation in many meaningful and practical activities, including organizing activities to join hands to clean up the marine environment.
The beaches have been basically cleared of trash.
Thereby, sending a message to each citizen and tourist to understand and appreciate the marine environment more so that marine tourism can be increasingly developed; at the same time, raising awareness for all citizens about protecting the marine environment, maintaining public hygiene so that the environment becomes increasingly green, clean and beautiful, contributing to improving the quality of life for the community.
