Commencement of 2 bidding packages of public investment projects

According to the Department of Finance, from June 4 to 11, 2025, two more bidding packages of public investment projects from the provincial budget registered to start construction before June 30 have started.

Specifically, 2 construction packages have started for the Dong Nai riverbank reinforcement projects (section through the area of ​​2 communes Tan An and Thien Tan, Vinh Cuu district and resettlement area in Tam Phuoc ward, Bien Hoa city).

Currently, among 21 projects with bid packages registered to start construction before June 30, 8 bid packages have started construction with the disbursement value after bidding reaching nearly 423 billion VND. Along with that, there are 11 other bid packages in the process of selecting contractors.

For the 2 bidding packages that are completing procedures and have not yet been bid, including: Nhon Trach District Inter-Port Road Project and Road Surface Expansion Project, arranging traffic lanes at 2 intersections of National Highway 1 - Hung Vuong, currently 1 project has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the contractor selection plan, 1 project has completed the appraisal of construction drawing design and is submitting to the Department of Construction for appraisal. The Department of Finance requested the Department of Construction to focus on promptly processing the appraisal results of construction drawing design documents. The investors need to closely follow the appraisal progress, promptly supplement and complete the documents (if any) to soon approve the construction drawing design, as a basis for organizing the bidding to select a contractor to construct the project.
