Formal survey for external evaluation of 8 training programs

Phan Thiet University, in collaboration with the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center and a team of external assessment experts (members of the team come from prestigious universities), organized the closing ceremony of the official survey to serve the external assessment of 8 training programs of UPT. The survey included: 6 undergraduate training programs in accounting, automotive engineering, construction engineering, logistics and supply chain management, law, restaurant management and food service and 2 master's training programs in economic law and English language.

The external assessment team studied supporting documents and worked with school officials.

With the high working intensity and professional responsibility of the external assessment team members from the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center and the full and timely coordination in all aspects of work of Phan Thiet University; the official survey serving the external assessment of 8 training programs was completed after 4 working days.

At the closing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Do Hanh Nga - Deputy Director of the Saigon Center for Education Quality Assessment, Head of the external assessment team, reported the preliminary results of the official survey based on the requirements of the criteria according to the set of standards for assessing the quality of higher education institutions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). The content of the report stated the objective, careful and well-considered comments of the assessment experts sent to Phan Thiet University; with the desire to help Phan Thiet University review the process of building, maintaining and developing training and scientific research activities that have created the brand of Phan Thiet University in the general context: Quality culture - assessment culture plays a decisive role in the development of university training programs.

Associate Professor, Distinguished Teacher Vo Khac Thuong - President of Phan Thiet University affirmed: "The valuable comments and recommendations from the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center and the external assessment team are an important guideline and motivation to help Phan Thiet University see itself more clearly, to continue to innovate and improve the quality of training programs". Dr. Duong Mong Ha - Director of the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center highly appreciated the efforts of Phan Thiet University in continuously improving quality; the external assessment team worked seriously, impartially and objectively in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training and especially made valuable recommendations to help Phan Thiet University develop in the new period. Representatives of the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center, the external assessment team and Phan Thiet University signed a record of the results of the official survey to serve the quality assessment of 8 training programs of Phan Thiet University. The assessment results are not the end point but a new journey, an opportunity for the school to continue to affirm its value and reputation.
