Rewarding the smart motorbike taxi driver who took the murderer to the police station

On April 22, at the People's Committee of Thuan An commune (Binh Minh town), Vinh Long Provincial Police organized a ceremony to present a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Police Director to Mr. Tran Van Nhat for his outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

Authorized by the Director of the Provincial Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Director of Vinh Long Provincial Police, presented a Certificate of Merit to Mr. Tran Van Nhat (born in 1963, residing in Thuan An commune, Binh Minh town).

Mr. Nhat is a motorbike taxi driver in Thuan An commune. On March 31, a young man asked Mr. Nhat to take him to Cho Lach district ( Ben Tre province). On the way, through conversation, Mr. Nhat realized that this young man had many suspicions of having just committed a crime, so he was quick-witted and clever and took the subject straight to the Cho Lach town police station (Ben Tre province) to report.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Director of Vinh Long Provincial Police, presented a certificate of merit to driver Tran Van Nhat.

Working, Cho Lach town police verified that this subject was related to the murder that occurred in Tam Binh town (Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province) on the same morning and was being sought by Vinh Long province police.

Cho Lach town police have detained the subject and contacted and handed him over to the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Long province to assist in the investigation. Mr. Nhat's actions are worthy of being commended and rewarded in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

The Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee also awarded Mr. Nhat 3 million VND, for his outstanding achievements in supporting the police force to quickly solve the murder case.

As reported by CAND Newspaper, in the early morning of March 31, Vinh Long Provincial Police received an investigation into the discovery of a mother and child dead in a house in Tam Binh Town (Tam Binh District). The Board of Directors of Vinh Long Provincial Police directed the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with professional units to urgently investigate and clarify the case.

Investigators serve procedural decisions on Huynh Tan Tai.

By noon on March 31, the investigation agency had identified the culprit and arrested Huynh Tan Tai (born in 2009, residing in Hung Khanh Trung B commune, Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province) in Cho Lach district (Ben Tre province). The investigation agency checked and seized more than 40 million VND and a mobile phone from Tai.

Tai admitted to killing mother and daughter TQ (born in 1978, residing in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province) and NTTH (born in 1960) in a house in Tam Binh town. According to initial statements, Tai knew and was being treated for "psychological" illness by Mr. Q.

On March 30, Mr. Q. took Tai to his biological mother's house, Ms. NTTH, in Tam Binh town for medical treatment. Afterwards, Tai and Mr. Q. had a conflict. At around 1:00 a.m. on March 31, Tai murdered Mr. Q. and the victim's biological mother at the aforementioned house. After committing the crime, Tai fled and was arrested at noon that same day.
