Also attending were Chairman of the Inspection Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Vo Minh Hoang; Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Dang Thi Hoa Ray; members of the Working Group to review and resolve complicated and prolonged complaints; representatives of the leaders of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and Chairmen of the People's Committees of localities where households have complained.
At the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung received Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Vui (residing at 21/2, Ngo Thoi Nham Street, My Long Ward, Long Xuyen City) who complained about the compensation policy for the house and land cleared in 1991; requested compensation for 238 square meters of land adjacent to the land from Ms. Vui's house to the riverbank; handed over 3 house plots and issued a land use right certificate to the family.
After listening to Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Vui's presentation of the incident and the opinions of the relevant agencies and local authorities, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung concluded that Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Vui's complaint had been repeatedly considered and resolved by the Provincial People's Committee and central agencies in accordance with the family's requests at each time it arose.
Currently, Ms. Vui has not completed the family authorization procedures. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Justice to guide the Long Xuyen City People's Committee on the procedures for handing over the house plots to Ms. Vui's family. When receiving the request dossier from Ms. Vui's family to receive 3 house plots, if all procedures are complete according to legal regulations, the Long Xuyen City People's Committee will promptly hand over these 3 plots according to regulations; for the support amount of 11,660,000 VND for Ms. Vui according to Decision 291/QD-UBND, the City People's Committee will proceed to hand over this amount to Ms. Vui according to legal regulations. The Provincial Lawyers Association is requested to support Ms. Vui on the legal procedures for inheritance authorization to receive the plots when Ms. Vui requests. At the same time, the Provincial Inspectorate is assigned to coordinate with the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee to report the results of reviewing and resolving Ms. Vui's complaints to the Government Inspectorate and the Central Citizen Reception Committee.
On the same day, the Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province received the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Xinh (represented by his son, Mr. Nguyen Minh Dat, residing in My Trung hamlet, My An commune, Cho Moi district) to appeal the Decision 1447/QD.UB.KN, dated June 12, 2002 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province; requesting the return of residential land and rice fields that Mr. Khoan's brothers are using, compensation for wrongful damage from the date of land encroachment until now, plus bank interest calculated from 1977 to present.
Regarding this case, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung assigned the Department of Justice and the Lawyers Association to guide Mr. Dat's family to carry out the authorization procedure according to regulations. Assigned the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Justice, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committee of Cho Moi district to advise the Provincial People's Committee on a plan to resolve the complaint of Mr. Dat's family, and to seek the opinion of the Government Inspectorate's Working Group. If the Government Inspectorate's Working Group agrees with the Provincial People's Committee's resolution plan, the Provincial People's Committee will organize the implementation.
