Meeting with voters of O Lam commune

At the meeting, voters listened to the People's Council delegates at 3 levels announce some results of economic , cultural and social development of An Giang province, Tri Ton district and O Lam commune in the first 6 months of the year, directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; progress in implementing the streamlining of the apparatus, merging at provincial and communal levels; and announcing the results of responding to voters' opinions and recommendations at previous meetings.

Voters expressed their excitement with the achievements of the locality, especially the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; the Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; the Program on Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses... There was high consensus on the project of merging 15 communes and towns into 5 communes and merging An Giang province with Kien Giang. In addition, voters also requested the locality to concrete the remaining part of Sroc Chhut road, O La Ka hamlet road (Phuoc Long hamlet); some issues on ensuring price stability of fertilizers - agricultural materials, output consumption for agricultural products...

Delegates of the People's Councils at all levels directly explained their opinions to the people. At the same time, they recorded other opinions to submit to the People's Councils at all levels and relevant agencies for resolution.
