Vinh Phuoc commune has 77 households with housing difficulties. Through selection, 58 households are eligible for housing support (100% new construction). Of which, the group of poor and near-poor households benefiting from the national target program is 40 households; the group of other poor and near-poor households is 18 households. The total construction cost is over 4.6 billion VND, of which the source allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province to support from the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group is over 1.7 billion VND.
After nearly 5 months of implementation, Vinh Phuoc commune has completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. The quality of the houses all ensure "3 hard" standards, meeting the general standards of the program; the time of use is at least 20 years.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Vinh Phuoc commune presented gifts to 58 families; commended 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in deploying and implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune in 2025.
