Rewarding the collective and individuals implementing Project QN1025

On November 18, the Provincial Border Guard Command organized an award ceremony for collectives and individuals involved in the fight against Project QN1025 - destroying a large-scale illegal trading and transportation ring of N2O (laughing gas) in the province.

Colonel Vu Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the project.

Previously, implementing the peak plan to fight against crime, the Professional Department (Provincial Border Guard Command) presided over the establishment of Project QN1025, coordinated with the Border Guard Station of Cam Pha port and functional forces to ambush and arrest a group of subjects who bought, sold, and transported prohibited goods.

Specifically, at 1:15 p.m. on November 2, 2025, in Cua Ong ward ( Quang Ninh province), the Crime Investigation Team coordinated with the Border Guard Station of Cam Pha port to discover and arrest Vu Van Tuan, born in 1995, residing in Ha Tu ward (the ringleader); Hoang Van Tuan, born in 1994, residing in Binh Lieu commune and Ma Van Hai, born in 1987, residing in Luc Hon commune, while transporting N2O gas cylinders from a car to an abandoned house; through the struggle, the authorities continued to arrest 5 more subjects, with permanent residence in many localities in the province.

At the scene and through an emergency search, the authorities seized evidence including a total of 637 N2O gas cylinders, 113 cylinder shells, and 4 cars (including 1 Innova and 3 pickup trucks) used by the subjects for transportation. Through rapid testing, 7/8 subjects tested positive for drugs.

At 11:30 p.m. the same day, after completing the initial file, the Investigation Board handed over all the subjects and evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police for further investigation and handling according to authority.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Command of the Border Guard of Quang Ninh province, Colonel Vu Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, commended and awarded certificates of merit to the collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the above project.
