About 400 delegates attend artificial intelligence conference in Da Nang

According to the Danang Investment Promotion Support Center, the workshop was organized to concretize the implementation plan of Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; in which, aiming at the goal of developing and applying advanced technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI).

Standing Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh discussed with businesses attending Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Day 2024.

The workshop was attended by about 400 delegates including leaders of the People's Committee, departments and branches of Da Nang City; representatives of diplomatic agencies, international organizations; technology experts, businesses, investors, training and medical facilities and the innovative startup community in the field of AI at home and abroad.

At the plenary session in the morning, the workshop will focus on main topics such as "The future of AI in Vietnam and recommendations for Da Nang City", "International experience in developing artificial intelligence and suggestions for Da Nang City", "Proposing a model for developing a smart city in Da Nang".

Along with that is the roundtable discussion "Da Nang - Potential destination for start-up businesses A" and the signing ceremony of cooperation between the Department of Science & Technology of Da Nang and Vingroup Corporation.

The afternoon session will be a thematic session. Based on the introductory report of the Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence of Da Nang on the current status and orientation for building and developing IT infrastructure to serve the development of the AI ​​field in Da Nang, there will be presentations focusing on the topic "Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure of Da Nang City".

The Danang Investment Promotion Support Center added that at the workshop, the Danang government will also introduce the potential, advantages and preferential policies in the field of AI - one of the city's breakthrough development spearheads to the business community and domestic and foreign investors.

The workshop is also a dialogue forum for experts and consultants to contribute ideas to perfect policies and build AI development strategies suitable to local practical conditions. Thereby aiming to attract resources, support startups, and promote AI applications in key areas such as healthcare, education, and public services.
