Ho Chi Minh City Children's Palace is a multi-purpose interactive complex.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Minh Hung - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil and Industrial Works of Ho Chi Minh City said: "Ho Chi Minh City Children's Palace is a grade I civil work, designed in a modern and synchronous manner. The main building is designed with a scale of 10 floors, including 1 basement + 1 ground floor and 9 floors. The total land area is 39,911.50 m2 with a construction floor area of 38,012.05 m2 , ensuring a spacious, multi-functional space for all learning, playing and living activities for children".
What makes the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Palace different and unique is the formation of a comprehensive children's service complex, harmoniously combining indoor and outdoor spaces. The main building (indoor) has a modern architectural design, inspired by the dynamism and creativity of children. Inside, there will be fully integrated professional areas such as 4 auditoriums, multi-purpose halls from 300 - 600 seats; 6 cinemas from 127-175 seats; art, martial arts, technical, talent classrooms, physical training playgrounds... Each floor is a different world of knowledge and experience.
The outdoor and landscape category focuses on creating creative playgrounds, combining physical education and environmental education. The landscape area will be designed with green spaces with small parks, central squares to host major events and group activities, along with small discovery areas to help children get closer to nature. The highlight of this category is the water square - a 1,308-seat covered outdoor grandstand and an outdoor stage with an area of about 1,246m2 .

"The Ho Chi Minh City Children's Palace, when put into operation, will be one of the city's new cultural and educational symbols and a work of faith, love and aspiration - a place to nurture dreams, develop talents, and light up the spirit of young people doing small things - contributing to building a heroic city," Mr. Ngo Minh Hai emphasized.
