Launching the program "Quang Ngai Countryside Colors" 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City

On November 15, the Quang Ngai Fellow Countrymen Association held a press conference to launch the first "Quang Ngai Countryside Colors" program in 2024.

The first "Quang Ngai Countryside Colors" program in Ho Chi Minh City - 2024 will take place at Dong Ho Garden (District 10) on January 12 and 13, 2024.

The program is organized by the Quang Ngai Fellow Countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Quang Ngai Businessmen Club in Ho Chi Minh City, the Return to My Hometown - Quang Ngai Club, the Love Connection Club, the Quang Ngai Student Club in Ho Chi Minh City... taking place on January 12 and 13, 2024, at Dong Ho Garden (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).

"Quang Ngai Countryside Colors" not only conveys nostalgic spaces but also "contemporary slices" of Quang Ngai people making a living in Ho Chi Minh City today.

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Head of the program's organizing committee, expressed: "The purpose of the program is to create a healthy cultural space to serve people far from home and connect hearts that love Quang Ngai with humane messages and practical actions."

According to the organizers, "Quang Ngai Country Colors" will have cultural spaces typical of Quang Ngai such as calling bai choi, hat ho, hat sac bua... The organizers will coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province to bring the 9-wheeled water wheel model - a symbol of Quang Ngai people's memories, crafted by artisan Mai Van Quyt, to Ho Chi Minh City for display.

In addition, the cultural space also offers delicious dishes and products of Quang Ngai such as: don, corn ram, xu xoa, Mo Duc malt, mirror candy, Song Tra goby fish, Ly Son garlic, Tra Bong cinnamon...

The program also included a photo exhibition with the theme "Quang Ngai - a hundred memories and thousands of loves" to introduce the land, people and landscapes of Quang Ngai, co-organized by Quang Ngai Newspaper. The highlight of the program was the music night with the theme "Singing with the homeland" taking place on the night of January 12, 2024.

Also at this program, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper will award 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students and excellent students in Quang Ngai province from the program "Scholarship to support ethnic minority and poor students" managed and operated by the newspaper.
