Launched on March 11, the HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 competition promises to continue to be an incubator for students to spark unique startup ideas.

Confidently start a business right in the university lecture hall

Returning for season 7, HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 is the keyword 'dominating the airwaves' in the school's student community.

This year, the competition continues to expand in scale, accepting start-up projects in all fields such as: Marketing, Finance, Business Solutions (Sales), Business Administration, Technology - Engineering, Education, Health, Agriculture , Tourism, Language, initiatives to serve and develop the community.

Contest topics and ideas can be new creative ideas, or developed from scientific research topics at the Faculty/Institute level, school level, subject projects, models that have been and are operating in practical fields in the locality, or upgraded and developed from ideas that have participated in previous contests.

Students can participate individually or in groups. Individual contestants can register up to three ideas/projects; group contestants can have no more than five members each, and can be linked to Faculties/Institutes. Projects that have won First, Second, or Third prizes in startup competitions are not eligible to participate in the competition.

Starting a business is always a topic that many young people are interested in. Bringing a playground right in the university lecture hall creates conditions for students to test themselves with potential projects, as well as consolidate knowledge, practice management thinking, and have a strong personality.

Through the competition seasons, many unique ideas of students have left an impressive mark in the startup community in general, such as the Multi-function Joint Project - Support for people with upper limb mobility disabilities by Nguyen Ngoc Nhut (Love Life Amputee) - champion 2024.

Schools and businesses join hands to support

By participating in the competition, students are not 'alone' but will always receive companionship and support from the school as well as prestigious units.

Throughout the competition, students will receive mentors who are experts and experienced entrepreneurs in the field of startups as well as participate in training courses to develop startup projects.

Through that, candidates or groups are given appropriate direction for each project to perfect their ideas and get closer to realizing them into viable business models.

At the launching ceremony, students listened to stories about startups, success stories and failures, general information about the current startup situation; mechanisms and policies to support startup activities for students; advice for young people when embarking on startup projects;... were mentioned specifically.
