The Investigation Police Agency, Ministry of Public Security has just issued a decision to prosecute Mr. Pham Thai Ha - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, Assistant to the National Assembly Chairman for the crime of "Taking advantage of position and power to influence others for personal gain".

Expanding the investigation into the case of "Violating regulations on bidding causing serious consequences; Giving bribes; Receiving bribes" occurring at Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company and related units and organizations, on April 21, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to supplement the criminal case, a decision to prosecute the accused, an order to temporarily detain, and a search warrant for Mr. Pham Thai Ha - Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly , Assistant to the Chairman of the National Assembly for the crime of "Taking advantage of position and power to influence others for personal gain", according to the provisions of Clause 4, Article 358, Penal Code 2015, amended and supplemented in 2017.
On April 22, the Supreme People's Procuracy approved the above orders and decisions. After the Supreme People's Procuracy approved them, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency executed these orders and decisions.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency is focusing its forces, expanding the investigation, clarifying the violations of the defendants and violations at Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company and related units and organizations to strictly handle them according to the provisions of law and thoroughly recover assets.
