
Diversify products to target international customers
As an ancient land, Ninh Binh currently has a system of tangible and intangible cultural heritages leading the country with nearly 5,000 relics of all kinds that have been inventoried, including 8 special national relics and 265 national relics. In the province, there are also 743 traditional festivals which are intangible heritages that attract tourists, including 33 national intangible cultural heritages.
In particular, Ninh Binh is the only locality in Vietnam and Southeast Asia that has a heritage recognized by UNESCO with the double title: "Trang An Landscape Complex - World Cultural and Natural Heritage" and "Practice of the Vietnamese Mother Goddess Worship" is listed as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. In addition, Ninh Binh also possesses very rich and diverse natural resources with forests, hot mineral springs and about 90km of coastline...
With the above advantages, Ninh Binh has become a strong branded destination on the tourist map, highly appreciated by tourists and many international travel sites: Top 10 friendliest destinations in the world; Top 10 leading tourist destinations in Vietnam; Most attractive and friendliest destination in Asia; Cuc Phuong National Park has been recognized as Asia's leading national park for 6 consecutive years...
In the first 9 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 16.7 million visitors, an increase of 27.94% over the same period (of which international visitors reached nearly 1.6 million); tourism revenue reached nearly 18 billion VND, an increase of 41.08% and reaching 99.42% of the yearly plan. It is expected that in 2025, the total number of visitors and tourists is estimated to reach 16.2 million, including over 2 million international visitors, with estimated revenue reaching 14,910 billion VND.
To achieve the tourism growth target by 2025, many tourism service businesses have proactively invested and innovated products, especially tourism products targeting international visitors with high spending ability.

Specifically, new tourism products will be put into operation such as: spiritual cultural tours, learning at pagodas, temples, large churches (Quan Anh Ngoi Bridge, Luong Pagoda, Pham Phao Church (Hai Anh Commune); experiencing traditional bronze casting and trumpet making villages; meeting and chatting with artisans; learning to make puppets and control water puppets; cycling through rice fields and peaceful villages; visiting churches associated with the history of proselytizing and the development of Catholicism in Vietnam in general, Ninh Binh in particular; experiencing Hai Minh craft village; community support activities such as planting trees, picking up trash to keep the marine environment clean...; enjoying local cuisine prepared by the people themselves...
Ms. Duong Thi Thanh, Chairwoman of Ninh Binh Tourism Association, said: The number of international visitors to Ninh Binh is forecast to increase in the coming months from potential markets such as Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and European visitors.
Since the beginning of September, the Provincial Tourism Association has coordinated with the Vietnam Tourism Association to organize Famtrip programs for international travel companies; directed tourist areas, destinations, and businesses to actively invest and innovate products, focus on exploiting unique values, build tourism products with high cultural content, introduce regional cuisine and the uniqueness of each destination; strictly implement regulations on ensuring hygiene, environment, and food safety.
The units are urgently renovating and upgrading technical facilities; paying attention to training tourism staff to improve their foreign language skills to ensure the requirements of serving tourists safely and thoughtfully. At the same time, the Association is stepping up the work of promoting, advertising, and introducing tourism images on mass media...
