Prosecution of the director and deputy director of the 34-04D Vehicle Inspection Center in Hai Duong

On the afternoon of March 10, Hai Duong Provincial Police announced that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency had initiated a case and prosecuted three defendants for accepting bribes at the 34-04D Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, located in Kim Thanh District.

The Investigation Police Agency executed a search warrant against the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 34-04D.

The defendants prosecuted include: Nguyen Phu Nam (born in 1979, Director of Inspection Center 34-04D), Do Van Kien (born in 1991, Deputy Director) and Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1990, Director of Alpha Automobile Company Limited) for the crime of "Receiving bribes" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 354 of the Penal Code.

This is the latest development in the process of the police agency expanding the investigation of the case of "Accepting bribes" that occurred at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center 34-05D (address Lien Hong Commune, Hai Duong City). In this case, Nguyen Van Phuc was arrested for "colluding" with the leaders of the Inspection Center 34-05D to create fake documents to carry out procedures for issuing certificates of motor vehicle renovation.

The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province continues to expand the investigation to strictly handle the subjects according to the law.
