Kim Lien National Special Relic Site - where priceless heritages about the homeland, family and childhood of President Ho Chi Minh and his two visits to his homeland are preserved. This is also a "red address", a place to return to the source, a place where the affection of the people in the country and international friends converge.
In May, Kim Lien National Special Relic Site welcomed tens of thousands of visitors from all over the country and international friends to visit and commemorate President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved father of the nation on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of his birth.
Priceless artifacts
On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), General Secretary To Lam presented the light sculpture "Vietnam - golden pages of history" to the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site. This is a light sculpture in the shape of a history book, meaning that Vietnamese history is a golden history book and President Ho Chi Minh is the one who wrote the brilliant golden pages in the history of the nation.
The work highlights his immortal saying: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom" - an eternal truth, illuminating the path to the future of the nation.
The work has special dimensions: 1,945mm wide, 2,025mm high and 79 pages.
The work honors President Ho Chi Minh - the one who wrote brilliant golden pages of history, leading the Vietnamese nation into an era of independence.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan, Director of Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, said that the work is solemnly displayed in the main yard of Bai Duong House, Kim Lien Special National Relic Site. This will be a special highlight, a meaningful cultural meeting place for people and tourists when they come to Sen Village, Uncle Ho's hometown.
In addition, two additional exhibition halls at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site currently have more than 200 artifacts and images arranged according to two main themes: “Homeland, family and childhood of President Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh with his homeland, homeland to him.” These are precious souvenirs and documentary photos donated to the Relic Site by domestic and foreign delegations, localities, agencies and units, along with hundreds of pages of documents collected by officers and employees of the Relic Site Management Board.
The displayed relics, photos and documents contribute to enriching the documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh during the years he lived in his homeland and the two times he returned to visit his homeland.
“Although many years have passed, the relics and memorabilia in Uncle Ho’s hometown are still intact. I was really moved when I saw the artifacts related to Uncle Ho’s family and life,” said Ms. Luu Tuyet Trinh, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City.
In the extremely harsh weather conditions in Nghe An, the work of protecting, preserving and maintaining artifacts at the two exhibition houses has encountered many difficulties. However, over the years, the staff of the Department of Collection, Inventory, Preservation and Display of the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site have always strived to carry out their tasks with experience, research and study to find the best preservation methods.

Ms. Bui Bich Dam, Head of the Propaganda and Education Department - Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, said that over the years, the unit has maintained good routine preservation work, gradually applied scientific, technical and technological advances to preservation, implemented well the periodic preservation regime and restored and prevented deterioration of the relic. The preservation of artifacts and memorabilia of Uncle Ho is carried out meticulously, carefully and requires a high level of safety.
Currently, the total number of artifacts displayed in the relic houses and additional exhibition houses here is nearly 300 artifacts. In addition, the relic site's artifact warehouse is preserving and displaying 42 types of artifacts, with nearly 4,000 units of artifacts and hundreds of documents and artifacts, including documentary photos, souvenirs from domestic and foreign delegations, from localities, agencies, and units donated to the relic site, and hundreds of pages of collected documents, contributing to enriching documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh...
