Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Transport, said that at schools under construction, it is necessary to plant many large trees to create shade for students when they go to school.

Here, Mr. Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the National Assembly 's Economic Committee, requested that construction units speed up the school construction progress so that students can soon have a new, spacious school.

"Schools must be built quickly so students can go to school, and markets must be completed quickly so people can shop more easily," said Mr. Vu Hong Thanh.

The working group of the Standing Committee of the Economic Committee continued to survey the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project, at the construction site, it was noted that some construction machinery was working at a slow pace. The delegates requested the functional units to speed up site clearance to serve the project's construction progress.

At the Long Duc resettlement area (Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district), the working group conducted a field survey and checked the project progress. However, the field survey recorded that the resettlement area still had many messy items.

Mr. Vu Hong Thanh said that the resettlement area should be completed so that people have a new place to live before handing over the land. The locality should ask for a mechanism to increase human resources to support large projects to speed up the project progress.

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that the locality has a temporary resettlement policy for people whose land has been recovered to serve projects.

“If there is no resettlement land, the locality will support people temporarily for 5 months, 3 million VND per month. After 5 months, if there is still no resettlement, the temporary residence will be extended. Many Dong Nai projects started a bit late but the acceleration and finishing stages are fast,” said Mr. Duc.

Regarding human resources, Mr. Duc said that recently, Dong Nai mobilized officials from departments and localities without projects to support the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, Dong Nai also established a separate Compensation and Site Clearance Board to serve the projects.
