At the scientific conference "National digital twin technology breakthrough for smart agriculture in the Mekong Delta" held on September 9 in Can Tho city, Can Tho University and CT Group signed many strategic cooperation agreements.

One of the strategic cooperation between the two sides is the establishment of the UAV - Agricultural Robot Center and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Pilot Training School.

The UAV - Agricultural Robot Center aims to research the application of UAV and robot technology in agricultural production; train high-quality pilots and technicians; and act as a bridge between schools, businesses and the government in promoting innovation.

The UAV - Agricultural Robotics Center will have three major missions. First, the center will research and deploy UAV and robotic technologies directly applied to agriculture, from planting, caring, harvesting to carbon credit assessment.

This will also become a center for training high-quality human resources - UAV pilots and skilled technicians, ready to serve domestically and internationally.

The center also acts as a bridge for cooperation between schools, businesses and the government, promoting innovation and contributing to sustainable development for the region and the country.

The project will not only bring economic benefits, but also create a transformation for agriculture, contributing to making the Mekong Delta a leading region in smart agriculture, climate change adaptation and deep integration into the global value chain.

The two sides also cooperated on developing carbon credits for the Mekong Delta, focusing on sustainable shrimp farming; sustainable rice cultivation, and public lighting conversion.

Building a Student Internship Program with output standards linked to actual recruitment needs at CT Semiconductor. Developing a professional network in the fields of Advanced Packaging Technology and Artificial Intelligence, taking advantage of the existing academic-industrial connections of Can Tho University. Developing Semiconductor curriculum for students majoring in Semiconductor Engineering, according to international standards and suitable for business requirements. Providing academic sponsorship and organizing workshops, seminars and innovation programs for students. Co-implementing joint research topics and registering intellectual property rights for the achieved results.

CT Innovation Hub 4.0 (a member of CT Group) and Can Tho University also signed a cooperation project on developing high-quality human resources for the Mekong Delta in Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation using AI technology.

The two sides agreed to coordinate in implementing tasks such as cooperation in sharing and developing high-quality human resources; cooperation in expanding the connection network and attracting domestic and international experts; connecting and promoting the role of the Can Tho University Alumni Association Network; cooperation in training, scholarships, developing excellent human resources and innovation.

CT Group also sponsors the "Nurturing 4.0 Champion" Scholarship, including 1,000 scholarships for poor students in the Western region through the Can Tho University Alumni system, and a 4-year scholarship (VND 20 million/year) for 200 poor students of Can Tho University with a total value of VND 20 billion./.
