'Triumph song' celebrates 50 years of national reunification

(PLVN) - "Song of Triumph" is an art and political program celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification, produced by Voice of Vietnam Radio, which will take place on the evening of April 25, 2025 at the Hanoi Opera House.

The program “Song of Triumph” consists of 3 parts: Hanoi hears the news of victory” reenacts the morning of April 30, 1975 in the capital Hanoi. In the quiet space of the morning, the loudspeaker of the Voice of Vietnam radio broadcast the news of victory, making millions of hearts burst into tears. People who did not know each other shook hands and hugged each other to celebrate the great victory. Along with that were timeless songs such as: The storm has risen, Spring in Ho Chi Minh City…

“Marching to Saigon” recreates the seething atmosphere in the South on the historic day of April 30, 1975, including the moment when liberation music resounded from the loudspeakers of the old government, marking a great moment of transition in the history of the nation.

This section contains valuable documents, historical witness accounts, along with familiar musical works such as Tien Len Chien Si Dong Bo, Ha Noi - Hue - Sai Gon, Nhu Co Bac Ho Trong Ngay Hanh Dai Thang. These are works that once resounded at the moment of national reunification, evoking sacred memories and the spirit of national solidarity.
