People are advised not to buy weight loss foods from 'Ngan collagen'.

On November 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety issued a warning to people not to buy or use weight loss products advertised on social media platforms by an individual named "Ngan collagen".

According to the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City, on October 22, 2025, the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) issued Official Dispatch No. 2119/ATTP-NDTT to coordinate the inspection and supervision of food products; including information on a number of weight loss food products advertised by an individual nicknamed "Ngan collagen" on social networks (including products: Apple candy to eliminate belly fat, N-collagen Chanh plus...).

Because the authorities are currently inspecting and verifying the production, trading and advertising of the above products, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety recommends that consumers do not buy or use weight loss food products of "Ngan collagen". These are products named: N-Collagen Chanh Plus, N Collagen Cordyceps Nest Plus +, Apple candy to eliminate belly fat (or "Apple candy", with the name of Hoang Chau Pharma Company Limited on the product packaging) while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification. Similarly, people also need to be especially vigilant with products advertised by individuals on social networks or whose origin cannot be verified.

It is known that many wards/communes in Ho Chi Minh City have also issued warnings advising people not to buy or use the above weight loss food products of "Ngan collagen". The Food Safety Department has warned consumers not to use the health protection food N-Collagen weight loss support tea because it can potentially affect health.
