On May 7-8, the provincial Food Safety Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 inspected compliance with legal regulations on ensuring food safety during the "Month of action for food safety" in Bao Yen district.

The delegation inspected 6 establishments producing, trading, processing food, providing catering services and collective kitchens at Bao Yen District Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, and Bao Yen District High School No. 1.


Accordingly, the Delegation inspected the administrative and legal records of the establishments: business registration certificates or household business registration certificates, certificates of establishments meeting food safety conditions, health certificates, and certificates of training in food safety knowledge of the subjects according to regulations.
Check the compliance of the facility owner with the conditions of the facility, equipment and tools, people directly producing and trading food, production and processing processes; food transportation and preservation; origin, provenance, expiry date of food...
In addition, the Delegation conducted a rapid test on pho samples at a production facility, and the results were negative for formalin.



Through the inspection, the Delegation discovered a violation at a food service establishment due to failure to comply with the legal regulations on food sample storage as stipulated in Point b, Clause 2, Article 15, Decree 115/2018/ND-CP dated September 4, 2018 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations of food safety. The fine amount is 4 million VND.
