Check and handle the waste flooding situation of La Khe canal hardening project

Kinhtedothi - Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh directed the inspection and handling of press information reflecting the situation of waste flooding in the La Khe canal hardening project (Ha Dong district).

On March 11, the City People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 829/UBND-TTDT to the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Ha Dong District People's Committee regarding the inspection and handling of press reports reflecting that the La Khe Canal hardening project (Ha Dong District, Hanoi) has been behind schedule for many years due to problems in site clearance.

For a long time, the road on both sides of the canal has been littered with garbage, sand, etc., causing serious pollution, affecting people's health and lives.

Regarding this matter, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Ha Dong District and relevant units to urgently inspect and clarify information reported by the press, strictly handle violations (if any); report to the City People's Committee before March 15, 2025.
