In the first 5 months of 2025, Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fishery export turnover reached 28.04 billion USD (up 15.1% over the same period in 2024).

Of which, the export value of agricultural products reached 15.29 billion USD (up 16.3% over the same period in 2024); the export value of aquatic products reached 4.11 billion USD (up 15.1% over the same period in 2024); the export value of forestry products reached 7.48 billion USD (up 11.7% over the same period in 2024); the export value of inputs for production reached 938.7 million USD (up 24.3% over the same period in 2024); the export value of livestock products reached 217.2 million USD (up 11.7% over the same period in 2024)...
In terms of regional markets, Asia is the largest exporting region of Vietnamese agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 5 months of 2025 with a market share of 42%. Next is the Americas with a 23% market share. Europe ranks third with a 16.1% market share. In terms of detailed markets, the US, China and Japan are the three largest exporting markets of Vietnamese agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 5 months of 2025 with market shares of 20.5%; 17.3% and 7.3%, respectively.
In 2025, the Agriculture and Environment sector aims for a growth rate of 4%. At the same time, it strives to achieve a turnover of 70 billion USD in agricultural, forestry and fishery exports.
