On the evening of January 10, a representative of the Lang Thuong Ward Police, Dong Da District, Hanoi, said that they had coordinated with functional units to promptly control a house fire that caused an explosion on Lang Street.
According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 8:00 p.m. on January 10, in a residential area in lane 814 Lang Street (Lang Thuong Ward, Dong Da District).
At that time, the fire broke out from the third floor of the house, then there were many loud explosions like firecrackers.

As soon as the incident was discovered, the people activated the fire safety team. The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team, Dong Da District Police quickly arrived to control the fire.
The fire was handled, causing no human damage.
According to Lang Thuong Ward Police, the initial cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit on the third floor of the house. The fire then quickly spread to the area where the homeowner was setting off fireworks for Tet.
Upon learning that the fire was near a place where many homeowners bought fireworks to celebrate Tet, the task force promptly took safety measures to move the fireworks out of the dangerous area.
It is known that these fireworks are fireworks that people bought from the Ministry of Defense, with invoices and documents.
The case is being processed according to regulations.
