Signing of cooperation agreement on forest protection and fire prevention

Military , police and forest rangers signed a joint operating regulation.

Vo Mieu Commune was established on the basis of merging and reorganizing 3 commune-level administrative units of Thanh Son district (old), including Vo Mieu, Cu Thang and Dich Qua communes. With a total natural area of over 9,600 ^km2 ; forestry land area of nearly 5,000 hectares, of which protective forest area is over 600 hectares, production forest area is over 4,300 hectares. To ensure that the work of PCCCR is smooth, synchronous and effective according to the 2-level local government model, the units: Military Command, Vo Mieu Commune Police and Thanh Son Forest Protection Department organized meetings, evaluated coordination results and signed coordination activities in 2025.

Accordingly, the military, police and forest rangers continue to coordinate closely in the work of grasping the security and order situation, the situation related to forest protection and fire prevention and fighting in the area. Investigate, verify and resolve complicated incidents that occur in accordance with the functions and tasks of each force, strictly comply with the principles of coordination and information exchange. The units coordinate well in propaganda and mobilization of the people of 49 residential areas in the area to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and local laws and policies on forest protection and fire prevention and fighting. At the same time, strengthen coordination in patrolling and inspection, especially in areas with large areas of natural forest, border areas, key areas with high risk of forest fires and deforestation. The forces have performed well the tasks of protecting forest ecology, protecting forest plants and animals, preventing and fighting forest fires, preventing and controlling forest pests, preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, searching and rescuing, and protecting the environment.

At the conference, representatives of the three agencies' leaders signed additional regulations and plans for coordinated activities between the forces in 2025.
