Signing of cooperation agreement between Agribank Hoa Binh province branch and the Provincial Farmers' Association

Representatives of the Provincial Farmers' Association and Agribank Hoa Binh branch signed a cooperation agreement on implementing credit policies to serve agricultural and rural development.

Implementing the inter-sectoral agreement between the Provincial Farmers' Association and Agribank Hoa Binh branch according to Decree No. 55/2015/ND-CP for the period 2016 - 2024, the Farmers' Association at all levels in the province has coordinated with Agribank to organize propaganda and dissemination to officials and members of the basic contents of the Decree; training and propaganda on the amended contents of Decree No. 116/2018/ND-CP of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 55/2015/ND-CP and new policies on credit operations, thereby effectively implementing credit policies to serve agricultural and rural development. As of December 31, 2024, the outstanding loans of Agribank Hoa Binh branch reached VND 13,709 billion, with over 51,000 customers; In which, outstanding loans for agriculture and rural areas are nearly 9,680 billion VND with over 50,000 customers, accounting for 70.5% of outstanding loans for the economy ; outstanding loans through loan groups managed by HND are over 4,200 billion VND, over 1,400 loan groups, lending to over 34,300 members, bad debt accounts for 0.03%.

At the conference, Agribank Hoa Binh branch and the provincial Farmers' Association discussed, approved the draft and signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2025 - 2030 to continue effectively implementing Decree No. 55/2015/ND-CP and Decree No. 116/2018/ND-CP of the Government in the province. The cooperation contents include: commitment to arrange sufficient Agribank capital to meet the borrowing needs of officials and farmer members; apply preferential interest rates according to regulations and guiding documents; simplify lending procedures for officials and farmer members.

The agreement was signed to create favorable conditions for farmer members who need to borrow capital and use Agribank's services for production, business, consumption, increasing income, improving life, contributing to the successful implementation of the Project on restructuring the agricultural sector, building new rural areas, increasing income, improving the life of farmers.
