Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the glorious victories of our army and people in the two long resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism to save the country. The Youth Volunteer Force (YVSF) was present on all the routes to the battlefields; enthusiastically fighting, digging mountains to open roads, ensuring smooth traffic in all situations, transporting tens of thousands of tons of goods, weapons, and food to the battlefields, contributing to the great victories of the nation.

The City Youth Volunteer Association currently has 7 branches with 122 members. The Association has always closely followed the political tasks and practical situation of the locality; gathered and united former youth volunteers who completed their tasks in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism and during the period of building socialism. Along with that, the association has performed its obligations well, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members. From 2024 to present, the association has mobilized benefactors to donate 209 gifts to members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of holidays and Tet; coordinated with the Son La City Youth Union to build a house of gratitude worth 100 million VND for members in especially difficult circumstances; actively coordinated with the City Youth Union to strengthen education on the tradition of revolutionary struggle and the tradition of the Youth Volunteer Force for the younger generation...
