The first day of the exam was safe and effective.
Early in the morning, at the examination sites, nearly 105,000 candidates for the 10th grade entrance exam were taken to school by their parents to take the first exam. At 7 a.m., the candidates were present at the examination room to settle down and listen to the regulations again before taking the official Literature exam.

Parents take their children to the exam sites early in the morning.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, a parent who took his son to the exam at Linh Dam Secondary School, Hoang Mai District, said that today was the first day of the exam, so his family took the initiative very early to prepare to take his son to the exam on time. "I woke my son up at 5:30, had breakfast, prepared the necessary equipment and tools, encouraged and told him to calm down and do well on the test, then took him to the exam site. I also hope he does well on the test and gets a high score," Mr. Hai confided.
According to the assessment, at the examination sites, the organization of the examination was carried out quite seriously. Youth volunteers, police, traffic inspectors, etc. were also present very early to coordinate the route, ensure traffic order and safety as well as support the candidates.
Ms. Nguyen Mai Hoa, Vice Principal of Thang Long Secondary School, Ba Dinh District, said that this morning at the Thang Long Secondary School exam site, the school organized the exam very well. "In the first exam, students took the test in a relaxed and confident manner, and when they left the exam room, they were very happy. The exam staff completed their tasks well and there were no problems," said the Vice Principal of Thang Long Secondary School.
Evaluating the literature exam this morning, Ms. Dinh Thi Van Hong, Principal and Head of the exam site of Dong Da Secondary School, Dong Da District, said that the knowledge of the literature exam was very basic and quite easy, predicting that the average score this year will be high. “At the Dong Da Secondary School exam site, the first exam this morning took place according to regulations, safely and without any problems. Literature exam is not difficult, Foreign language exam is within students' ability
As a candidate who completed the first Literature exam at the Viet Ba High School, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi , Dang Viet Anh said that this year's Literature exam was relatively easy and within the candidates' ability. The possibility of getting a score of 7-8 is not difficult.

The Literature and Foreign Language exams were both assessed as being within the required range.
“This year, I registered my first choice at Viet Ba High School. In my opinion, the literature exam this year was easier than previous years. I did about 80% of the test, and I expect to get about 8 points,” Viet Anh confidently said about his exam.
Sharing the same opinion about the Literature exam, candidate Mai Phuong Linh, taking the exam at Van Tao High School, Thuong Tin District, also said: "The Literature exam was not difficult, there were many questions in this test and the teachers also gave us a lot of practice. This morning I was able to do everything and expected to definitely get about 8 points."
Excited about doing well in the Foreign Language exam this afternoon, Nguyen Hien Mai, who took the exam at Thanh Liet Secondary School, Thanh Tri District, commented: This year's English exam was quite easy, within the students' ability. She estimated that she would get about 9 points. "My first wish is to get into Ngo Thi Nham High School, so I will try to do well in the Math exam tomorrow morning," Hien Mai shared.
Commenting on the foreign language exam, Ms. Vu Quynh Anh, an English teacher at Dong Da Secondary School, Dong Da District, said that this year's English exam was very good and had good differentiation.
“Overall, this year’s exam has good differentiation. Compared to previous years, the grammar section still focuses on familiar, common structures, so students will not have any difficulty with the grammar section. However, vocabulary knowledge is somewhat better, requiring students to apply the skill of guessing the meaning of words based on context.

Parents and students are happy when their children do well on their tests.
The phonetics section has 10 questions to test the pronunciation of vowels and the ending "s", similar to last year's 10th grade entrance exam. The stress section is different from previous years' exams in that it recognizes the stress of 3-syllable words, which is also a type of question that classifies students. However, good students can easily find the answer based on the stress rules of familiar endings (ion, ic, ical). The topics of the reading passages are topics related to the country, beautiful landscapes, culture, and major holidays of Vietnam, so they are quite familiar to students. This year's exam is very good and differentiates. Some questions require students to apply many skills.
It is predicted that this year's score range will be mostly in the 7-8 range. To achieve a score of 9-10, students must make the most of their knowledge and test-taking skills," said Ms. Vu Quynh Anh.
