The Sin Thau Commune Police, Muong Nhe District (Dien Bien) is located in the far west of the country. This Tet, many officers and soldiers here volunteered to stay and celebrate the spring with the Ha Nhi people. They have a special love for the land and people here, where they are the "green shields" protecting peace and bringing a warm and prosperous Tet to the Ha Nhi people.

The chief of police in Sin Thau commune, Lieutenant Colonel Ly Xu Tu, is a Ha Nhi born in Muong Te in a family with a tradition of working in the police force. After many years of working in Muong Nhe, he has become a "son of the village".

During the days before Tet, the commune police chief Ly Xu Tu often goes down to the village to understand the thoughts and feelings of the villagers. Warm and meaningful meals are prepared right in the simple house.

The job of a border commune police chief is very specific… like having a baby. Major Bui Quang Khai also just arrived in Sin Thau in November. Originally a lecturer at the People's Security College 1, he volunteered to work at the border commune police, a key area of complex security and order according to the plan of the Ministry of Public Security .

Sharing with reporters, Major Bui Quang Khai said: His main motivation is the desire to equip himself with knowledge from the grassroots, from which, when he returns to teach at the school, he will help the people's police students gain more practical lessons.
