At the meeting, the leaders of Lac Duong District People's Committee discussed and confirmed information on the arrangement and organization of the district's apparatus. Currently, Lac Duong District in particular and other localities nationwide are arranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model.

For Lac Duong district, arrange and merge 5 communes and 1 town with Ward 7, Da Lat city to establish Lac Duong commune on the basis of merging 3 commune-level administrative units including Da Chais commune, Da Nhim commune and Da Sar commune; establish Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat on the basis of merging 3 commune-level administrative units including Lat commune, Lac Duong town of Lac Duong district and Ward 7 of Da Lat city.

According to the roadmap, the new commune-level administrative unit will officially operate from July 1, 2025.

Regarding the contents of cooperation signed between Lac Duong district and Yachiyo city, after July 1, 2025, it will continue to be maintained on the basis of handing over tasks from Lac Duong district government to 2 new commune-level administrative units, Lac Duong commune and Lang Biang ward - Da Lat, and will not have to carry out any re-signing procedures between localities.

Leaders of Lac Duong district also exchanged opinions on the content of cooperation with Yachiyo city in the coming time. In the immediate future, the two localities agreed on a plan for Yachiyo city to send a group of students to visit and experience the district, expected at the end of August 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Lac Duong District Party Committee Tran Thi Chuc Quynh emphasized: Since Lac Duong district signed the friendship cooperation agreement with Yachiyo city, there have been encouraging initial results. In particular, there are delegation exchange activities to learn about each other's potential and strengths. Lac Duong district has organized 2 delegations to Yachiyo and Yachiyo city has organized 4 delegations to Lac Duong district; wooden cricket courts have been established in some tourist areas in Lac Duong district, this is a product of friendship and cultural exchange between the two localities; companies and businesses of the two localities have learned to reach agreement on cooperation programs in the coming time.

In particular, from March 27 to 29, 2025, Lac Duong district welcomed a delegation of students from Yachiyo city to visit, study and experience. This is a meaningful activity within the framework of the signed friendship between the two localities.

“In the coming time, although Lac Duong district ends, the friendly cooperation between the two units will continue to develop and expand further. We maintain the relationship with Lang Biang ward - Da Lat and Lac Duong commune, separated from the current Lac Duong district” - Secretary of Lac Duong District Party Committee affirmed.
