After the reduction in deposit interest rates at banks from the beginning of 2025 until now, there are only two banks listing deposit interest rates from 6%/year or higher, namely Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( HDBank ) and Vikki Digital Bank (Vikki Bank).
Of which, HDBank is listing the online savings interest rate for a 15-month term at 6%/year. The highest online savings interest rate for an 18-month term is listed by HDBank at 6.1%/year.
HDBank also listed the interest rate for 18-month over-the-counter deposits with interest paid at the end of the term at 6% per year. For each term, this bank listed the over-the-counter deposit interest rate 0.1% per year lower than the online deposit interest rate.
Meanwhile, Vikki Bank announced the highest bank interest rate at 6%/year for online deposits with terms from 18 months.
Apart from the two banks above, the remaining banks all list interest rates below 6%/year, except for a few banks that list special interest rates for customers who deposit savings of up to hundreds, even thousands of billions of VND, such as ACB , PVCombank, ABBank...
Among them, both HDBank and Vikki Bank also maintain special interest rate policies.
At HDBank, special interest rates are applied for 12 and 13 month terms, respectively 7.7% and 8.1%/year. Conditions for individual customers to receive interest at the end of the term and deposit a minimum amount of VND 500 billion.
Vikki Bank digital bank applies special interest rates for customers with 13-month term deposits, with deposit balances of VND 999 billion or more, 1.8% higher per year than the regular interest rate applied for the same term. The highest mobilization interest rate for special customers of Vikki Bank is 7.5% per year.
In addition, for individual customers who deposit for a term of 6-12 months and receive interest at the end of the term, Vikki Bank offers an additional interest rate of 0.05%/year for customers who deposit from 500 million to less than 1 billion VND; and an additional 0.1%/year for customers who deposit from 1 billion VND or more.
Both of these banks belong to the HDBank Finance - Banking Group ecosystem after Dong A Commercial Joint Stock Bank was forced to transfer to HDBank and changed its name to Vikki Bank as it is today.
