The 2025 Vietnam Talent Award Ceremony , chaired by the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning and in collaboration with the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), was held on the evening of October 27th in Hanoi.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed: "The Vietnam Talent Award has marked two decades of formation and development, becoming one of the most prestigious awards in the fields of science and technology, education , and scholarship promotion in Vietnam."
From its initial goal of seeking and honoring talent in the information technology industry, the award has continuously expanded its scope, comprehensively reflecting the pillars of sustainable national development. Through this, the award has contributed to discovering, encouraging, and disseminating creative values within the community, especially among intellectuals, scientists, and creative workers nationwide.
Over the past 20 years, the Vietnam Talent Awards ceremonies have formed a series of events focusing on innovative research and the application of research results to real life.
The most common characteristic of all the contestants is that they all study regularly, work diligently, study honestly, compete honestly, and possess genuine talent. They integrate learning with practice, conduct scientific research, and create new knowledge directly in the production process, with serving the people as their primary purpose.
Many highly applicable and well-organized products have been awarded prizes and ranked among the top 5 high-tech companies in the Asia-Pacific region or the top 100 outstanding industrial companies globally.

Third prize in the promising digital technology product category went to the AI-powered phishing website identification tool developed by a team of young authors from the Anti-Fraud Company.
Cybersecurity expert Ngo Minh Hieu, representing the group of authors, stated that in the Anti-Fraud group, the young people who created the website were only in their third year of university and participated in its development in a technical role.
The team of authors further shared how the system works, explaining that it will be based on building a cybersecurity intelligence system to scan for suspicious websites before they can affect users.
"Currently, our website for detecting and preventing fraud receives thousands of visits from people searching for information and checking websites suspected of fraud and theft online. This motivates us to improve our AI tools for fraud prevention," shared cybersecurity expert Ngo Minh Hieu.
In 2025, 168 entries were submitted in the digital technology field – a number that demonstrates the strong appeal and increasing prestige of the Vietnam Talent Award.
Following the preliminary round, 17 outstanding products were selected by the judging panel to advance to the final round, where they will present dramatic, intellectual, and creative presentations to the final judging panel on October 25th, to determine the most deserving candidates for the 2025 Vietnam Talent Award.
This year, the digital technology sector is particularly vibrant, attracting many products from young creators aged 16-30, including many high school students, university students, and Vietnamese tech startups.
The participation of young people shows that the award has become a source of inspiration and a launching pad for a new generation of innovators, while also reflecting the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship that is spreading strongly within the Vietnamese technology community.
