On December 26, according to information from the Thanh Hoa Food Safety and Hygiene Department, there are still no test results of food samples taken from the kitchen of Dien Bien 1 Primary School, so it is not yet determined whether the students' stomachaches and nausea are due to food poisoning or not.

Lunch menu on December 21

Previously, after lunch on December 21, many students of Dien Bien 1 Primary School showed symptoms of stomachache and nausea, so they were taken to hospitals in Thanh Hoa City for treatment.

Initially, the school reported that only 9 students had stomach aches and nausea and had to be hospitalized. However, the actual number reported by hospitals and parents was around 20 students.

As of December 26, all students have been treated and discharged from the hospital. The Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa City is also continuing to request the Board of Directors of Dien Bien 1 Primary School to review and report the exact number of students who had to be hospitalized for treatment, while waiting for the results of determining the cause of the incident to handle individual and collective responsibilities.
