After the success of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the Hanoi Singing Contest officially returns with breakthrough changes.
This year, the competition is expanding to the world , welcoming all contestants, regardless of nationality, as long as they meet the conditions in the Rules and Regulations.
According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio and Television (the organizer), this expansion not only contributes to raising the brand of Hanoi Singing to an international level, attracting singers with diverse techniques and styles, but also creates opportunities for cultural exchange, promoting Vietnamese music and the image of the capital to friends around the world.

"This is an important step in the strategy to make Hanoi a destination for contemporary art and creative activities," Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem emphasized.
A new highlight in the format of Hanoi Singing 2025 is the challenges designed to be closely related to music such as improvisational singing, limited-time remixing, performing with musical instruments, etc., promising to bring dramatic competitions, increasing entertainment and interaction, giving contestants the opportunity to demonstrate many skills other than vocals.
With these innovations, contestants of the 2025 season, in addition to possessing excellent singing voices and performance techniques, also need to practice many skills such as stage communication, quick reflexes, and personal image building. The combination of musical expertise and multi-talented skills will bring an exciting season, contributing to making Hanoi Singing 2025 an attractive art, entertainment, and television event.

The 2025 competition brings together a team of judges and professional advisors including famous artists, along with leading vocal experts participating such as: People's Artist Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, People's Artist Quoc Hung - Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, People's Artist Ha Thuy, People's Artist Mai Hoa, People's Artist Thanh Lam, People's Artist Tan Minh, singer Anh Tho, singer Ho Quynh Huong, singer Khanh Linh, musician Le Minh Son.../.
Contestants compete in three musical performance styles: Chamber, Folk and Light Music. The competition is divided into three rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final and Final.
Registration period: From September 19 to October 25 via HANOI ON App.
Chamber Style Finale: November 27.
Pop music finale: November 30.
Folk Style Final: December 3rd.
Final Ranking and Award Ceremony: December 9.
Prize structure: 1 Special Prize with a total value of up to 600 million VND, including cash and 1 car.
