The first international drone light competition took place in Khanh Hoa

On May 23, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival and Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2024.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, said that in 2022, the first Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival was successfully organized, leaving many good impressions on domestic and international businesses and tourists.

In 2024, Khanh Hoa province will continue to organize the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival with the theme "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly", taking place from June 13 to 16, to promote and advertise tourism, introduce brands, cultural products and services, and typical cuisine to domestic and international friends and tourists.

The event includes main programs such as the opening ceremony with the theme "Sea of ​​Essence"; dance competition "Hipfest Summer 2024"; bikini fashion show "Ocean Muse"; dance, folk dance and music festival; traditional musical instrument performance; jewelry show; fashion and art show "Honoring Vietnamese identity"; bartender performance; EDM performance; Saigon beer festival, food festival, coffee festival, fruit festival and regional specialties...

Along with that is the cyclo parade combined with beautiful ao dai performance; light carnival parade; Harley-Davidson motorcycle parade; Unique Nha Trang H-Marathon; art performance program, fashion show; the 3rd Nha Trang International Amateur Golf Tournament in 2024...

At the event, there will be about 200 tourism, service, commercial and culinary booths operating in an open space, without selling tickets or covering the surrounding area so that tourists and locals can easily visit, learn, access and use products and services from many directions of the event area.

It is expected that the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 will have 350,000 - 400,000 domestic and international visitors and foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam attending.

Notably, in the summer of 2024, Khanh Hoa will also organize the Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival - Ever Glamour Nha Trang 2024 (EGN 2024) with the theme "Glorious Galaxy", with the drone light competition (unmanned aerial vehicles for light shows) appearing for the first time in Vietnam, including 4 teams from Korea, China, France, UAE, each team performing at least 1,000 drones.

Specifically, on July 13, the opening ceremony and the first competition night between the two teams Korea - China, with the theme "Nha Trang shines - Glamour Nha Trang" will be held at April 2 Square, Nha Trang City.

On July 20, the second competition night between the French and UAE teams, with the theme "Night of the Wonders" and the closing ceremony was held at Hon Tre Island - Vinpearl Harbour Nha Trang.

The contest is expected to attract more than 50,000 people and tourists to participate directly each night, reaching more than 20,000 audiences nationwide through national and local television channels, millions of shares through social networking sites Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube...
